Uniqueness: The Nature Reserve is a large forest-swamp complex, including all types of natural ecosystems typical of the Belarusian Poozerje region. It has the international status of an Important Bird Area. This is an ideal place for birding.
The avifauna in the territory of the Nature Reserve is represented by 135 species, of which 53 species are of European conservation concern (SPEC). Within the territory of the Nature Reserve, 18 species of plants and 20 species of animals listed in the Red Data Book of the Republic of Belarus have been recorded. Here are the only nesting sites in Belarus of relict species of waterfowl - Black-throated Diver and Goosander.
The Nature Reserve is absolutely dominated by forest landscapes, which determine the high forest cover of the territory, about 80%. Due to heavy bogginess and a poorly developed road network, it is one of the least visited protected areas in Belarus.
The density of Wood Grouse population in the Nature Reserve is the highest in Belarus (more than 250 individuals). This bird is considered one of the indicators of an intact and pristine forest.
The territory of the Nature Reserve was not affected by the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and is the most environmentally friendly in Belarus.

Ecotourism services: Tours around the Nature Reserve for watching wildlife, guided tours with guides experienced in leading inclusive tours for people with disabilities, rental of bicycles, kayaks, tourist equipment, organization of fishing, hotel accommodation services.

Ecological routes: An equipped camping site on the bank of the Nishcha River.

Places of interest: Glasco Castle in Rossony; local War of 1812 Museum in the village of Kljasticy; Museum of Partisan Life in the village of Rovnoe Pole.
