MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) - About 400 people are taking part in Belarus’ Second National Forum on Sustainable Development in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
The forum will not only discuss progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Belarus, but will also be used to exchange best practices in sustainable development. National SDG coordinators of the CIS countries as well as UN representatives are scheduled to speak at the event.
The main topics include green transition to inclusive and sustainable growth, social innovations and digital transformation, partnership between business and government for sustainable development, smart cities and sustainable regions of the future.
The forum will also feature a ceremony to award organizations and citizens of Belarus who have made a significant contribution to the achievement of the SDGs.
