The council consists of representatives of the regional authorities, national government bodies, scientific organizations and public associations.
The Pripyat Basin Council considered the following issues:
1. The main areas of activity of the basin councils. Election of the vice chairmen and secretary of the Pripyat Basin Council.
2. Presentation of the draft plan of the Pripyat River management.
4. Best practices of the basin councils in France.
5. The ongoing and future activities of the public associations on the management of water resources in the Pripyat River basin.
6. Other issues.
