Uniqueness: The territory of the Nature Reserve includes the deepest lake reservoir in Belarus - Dolgoe Lake (maximum depth 53.6 m; average depth over 16 m), which is notable for its pure waters and considerable transparency - up to 6.4 m. The lake is striking in its shape – it is a narrow (width 400 m) long corridor, bounded by high, almost vertical slopes, overgrown with impenetrable alder and raspberry bushes, intertwined with hops. Unique to Belarus is a double-trunk specimen of Wych Elm growing on the lakeshore with over 1 meter trunks diameter.
According to the latest calculations by Belarusian specialists, the geographical centre of Europe is located not far from Dolgoe Lake, near the shore of Sho Lake.
The Nature Reserve is home to nine species of plants and five species of animals listed in the Red Data Book of the Republic of Belarus.
Part of the territory of the Nature Reserve is taken by the Golubov Garden – a former private estate, with a landscape park on terraces facing the lake. Only part of the park, fragments of linear and group plantings of trees and shrubs have survived to this day.

Ecotourism services: Camping sites, a walking tour of the Nature Reserve, rental of a rowing boat, tents and other tourist equipment, organization of a picnic. In the Reserve, there are swimming areas with a pier for fishing, wooden tables under a canopy, gazebos, toilets, locker rooms, places for tents, campfire sites, and parking for vehicles.

Ecological routes: Around the Golubov Garden ecological walking route (2 km); Legends of Belarusian Bajkal cycling route (55 km); Partisan Paths horseback riding route (20 km); Lake District in the Centre of Europe walking route (15 km); Along the Shosha River water route (45 km).
