Uniqueness: A distinctive feature of the nature of the Nature Reserve is its numerous lake basins, forming two parallels stretching from northwest to southeast. The lakes are connected to each other by channels and form a common system.
The core of the Nature Reserve is a whole complex consisting of Sinsha, Voloba, Glybo, Drisy and Ostrovcy lakes (in total there are 24 lakes in the Nature Reserve). It offers excellent opportunities for the development of water tourism. There are 17 species of fish here, among which the most desirable trophies are Pike, Pike Perch and Catfish.
Within the boundaries of the Nature Reserve there are 17 species of fish, nine species of amphibians, five species of reptiles, 122 species of birds, and 32 species of mammals.
Birdwatchers are interested in the species typical of the southern taiga zone: Ural Owl, Eurasian Pygmy Owl, Redwing, Greenish Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher, Three-Toed Woodpecker, and Spotted Nutcracker.
The territory of the Nature Reserve was not affected by the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and is the most environmentally friendly in Belarus.
