Uniqueness: The Nature Reserve is a large lowland floodplain swamp in the interfluve of the Pripjat, Prostyr, and Styr rivers. Endless thickets of sedge and reed make the swamp landscapes of the Nature Reserve especially picturesque. At the point where the Prostyr River flows into the Pripjat, the reeds reach a height of 3 meters. The Nature Reserve is not far from Pinsk - the city with a developed infrastructure.
It has the status of a wetland of international importance (a Ramsar site) and a globally Important Bird Area. In total, about 130 species of birds have been recorded here, 92 of which are breeding. The territory is important for the conservation of such species as Aquatic Warbler, Corncrake, Great Snipe, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Great Bittern, Eagle Owl, Little Crake. There are two colonies of Great White Egret, about 30 pairs in total.
Ecotourism services: Rental of bicycles, boats, boat motors, rental of a gazebo house with a barbecue zone and photo zone, trips on nature trails, bicycle and boat tours, visiting Silence ecotourism complex.
